When will the wedding venue be announced?
We’ll be revealing the wedding venue in October 2025. At that time, you’ll also receive details about our official room block, payment plan options for accommodations, and the full weekend itinerary of events.
Will there be payment plans for flights and hotels?
Yes! Guests can use Uplift or similar “pay-as-you-go” options for flights. Payment plan options will also be available for the hotel once our room block opens in October 2025.
Can I stay somewhere other than the host hotel?
Absolutely! While staying at the host hotel is a wonderful option for group convenience, you’re more than welcome to explore other accommodations. Many guests opt to stay in:
Giza — A short distance from iconic landmarks like the Pyramids and the Grand Egyptian Museum.
Zamalek — A leafy, upscale neighborhood known for its trendy cafes, galleries, and peaceful charm.
Downtown Cairo — A vibrant and historic area with the Egyptian Museum, beautiful architecture, and easy access to amenities.

Once the wedding venue is revealed in October 2025, we’ll share our official room block details—including hotel booking links and payment plan options—to ensure everything is as seamless as possible for your stay.
How long is the flight to Egypt, and how much does it cost?
Nonstop flights from New York’s JFK or Newark to Cairo take approximately 10 hours and 13 minutes. Round-trip fares typically range from $625 to $1,000, depending on the airline, travel dates, and how far in advance you book.
Will transportation be provided from the airport to the hotel?
We are working on arranging group transportation from Cairo International Airport to the Marriott Mena House for guests arriving on the same flights. Our current plan is to charter one or two large, air-conditioned buses for groups of 30 or more arriving around the same time, ensuring a comfortable and seamless ride to the hotel. Based on current estimates, the cost will range from $7–$15 per person each way, depending on the final group size and vehicle type. Final shuttle details, schedules, and booking instructions will be shared in October 2025 once flight information has been confirmed.
